About the Event
Free! Earth Day Family Picnic Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm Black Rock Mountain State Park Pavilion (next to the Visitors Center) After checking out the Earth Day Celebration in downtown Clayton, head on up to Black Rock Mountain State Park for a family picnic with the best views of our county! We’re providing hot dogs, burgers, buns and condiments. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share and your beverage of choice. If you’re a vegetarian, bring a veggie burger; our grill masters are standing by to grill for you. Please note that alcohol is not permitted in the park. Entrance to the Park requires a parking pass. Check a pass out at the Rabun County Library, or purchase a one-day pass ($5) at the park entrance. For more information, send an email to Kris Martin.
